The DP-D80 Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) is a high-precision underwater navigation instrument based on the Doppler effect. Designed for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), surface vessels, and marine platforms, it provides real-time 3D velocity measurements and bottom-altitude data. The device can operate independently or integrate with an Inertial Navigation System (INS) for enhanced accuracy and reliability.

  • High Accuracy: Velocity measurement accuracy better than 2‰ ± 2 mm/s; depth measurement error 1% ± 1.2 m.
  • Wide Measurement Range: Speed range from -15 kn to +15 kn; depth range 0.5 m – 80 m.
  • Pressure Resistant: Operates under water pressure up to 3.6 MPa.
  • Low Power Consumption: Average ≤25 W; peak ≤140 W.
  • Modular Design: Independent electronic unit and transducer for flexible installation.
